To paraphrase Samuel Clemens, “rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated.”
Seriously, though, I’ve been seeing doctors and having tests run to find the source of my debilitating fatigue. One interesting thing that I’ve learned is that your triglycerides level can be so high that it overwhelms the test for other types of cholesterol. I never knew that was possible.
So I’m on cholesterol medicine, we’ve adjusted the dosages on some other meds, and I’m joining Weight Watchers in an attempt to lose twenty pounds, to see if that helps suspected sleep apnea. While I’m still sleeping most of the weekend away to recover from fatigue, and still dependent on copious amounts of caffeine to make it through the day, I am feeling better.
As I often say, “It’s a shame that there is no “lemon laws” for husbands like they have for cars, because then my wife could trade me in for a model that works!”
I’ll be updating the website again, and working on figuring out the clockwheel app for the radio station for the daily broadcast. The three-hour live show on Sundays will have to wait awhile, until my stamina is better.
Thanks for hanging in there with me, and thanks for your support of Rat Patrol Radio!
