This week’s WWII Poster of the Week is a sample of the racism prevalent in anti-Japanese propaganda posters in the U.S. The Japanese, with their “alien” culture and appearance, combined with their sneak attack on Pearl Harbor and early atrocities like the Bataan Death March, made them an easy subject to demonize (sometimes literally, is some posters).
